Greetings, Gentle Readers…those few of you left. WE KNOW. It’s been an eternity and a half, but we’re here now.
Amy and I decided around Christmas last year that we needed to focus on travel and teaching, and that updating the blog over the summer before heading back to Spain for another year with our friends Maggs and Homey was the best plan. We’re sorry. We’re only human…even though Amy technically identifies as feline.
Our year in Spain was a year of challenges, growth, love, and language. We’ll be pouring our hearts to you over the next few weeks. There’s a lot to be said, and a lot to be seen.
Thanks for sticking with us.
Here is a handy by-month recap that lists what cities we visited (all in Spain unless otherwise noted):
JANUARY
Madrid [Comunidad de Madrid]
FEBRUARY
Alicante [Comunidad Valenciana]
MARCH
Toledo [Castilla La-Mancha]
APRIL
Lisboa [Lisbon], Portugal
MAY
Stuck around Cartagena exploring previously undiscovered sights.
JUNE
Adra [Andalucía] Where we will be living next year!
Burgos [Castilla y León]
Santiago de Compostela [Galicia]
Guimarães, Portugal [BIRTHPLACE of Portugal!!]
Yes, we really did visit 11 cities in the month of June, and we are still recovering.
You’ll be hearing from us soon!
